We are looking for an HGV Technician to join our workshop team at our Sevenoaks, Kent depot.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:30. The company offers a basic salary of £48,000–£50,000 per year, plus overtime at 1.5x the hourly rate. With a company van for travelling to and from work and occasionally for collecting parts, etc.

We specialise in supplying high-quality, modern vehicles to the Utility, Civil Engineering and Highway Maintenance sectors, including Asphalt Hotboxes, Tippers, Tipper Grabs and 4x4s, for both short- and long-term self-drive hire.
Qualifications & Licence Requirements
For this position, you will need to hold qualifications in HGV/Commercial Mechanics to the equivalent of NVQ Level 3 / City of Guilds / Full Main Dealership Apprenticeship.
Hold a full, current driving licence. A Class 2 HGV licence is preferred (Class 1 desirable but not essential); however, candidates without this may be supported in obtaining the Class 2 HGV, subject to company agreement and conditions.

Vehicle Diagnostics (using the latest Jal-Test vehicle diagnostic equipment)

Inspections and servicing

Repair of vehicle defects

MOT preparation

Preventative maintenance

Completion of compliance documentation
What’s Included
The role includes a service van (for business use only), a fuel card, a mobile phone, and overalls.
The working hours are from 07:00 to 16:30, 20 days’ paid holiday, plus public holidays (28 days total per full year worked), statutory days, and company pension, plus overtime paid at 1.5x the hourly rate.
Monthly pay on the 27th of every month.
